Those who have been following Alex and Walter's first webcomic adventure may recognize the Star of Egress. Not long after we created it, we'd already come up with the Indiana Jones Last Crusade gag about recognizing the Ark.

One of the fun but hard things about doing long stories like this is coming up with these ideas, and then having to wait forever to get a chance to actually use them.
