OH! So much in one page!
So first off, they don't escape. They get captured. Nobody thought of that part. Our heroes get captured. You can figure out for yourselves what happens next.
Next, Did anyone guess that the Kermit Eyebots were NOT robots? Did all the Yup-Yup-Yupping hint at what would eventually be revealed? Does anyone not get it? I forget sometimes that Jeff and I are old and not everyone grew up watching Sesame Street. In case you aren't familiar, one of the recurring sketches on Sesame Street involved these yarn Martians with googly eyes beaming down and learning about some aspect of Earth culture. Like this:
So they are not Robots, they are aliens in battle armour. Silly aliens.
Now, that armour is another matter. It's also got an origin. It's inspired directly by the Sontarans from Doctor Who.
Notice the newer blue armour, that's the recent ones from the revived series. They are a clone race, bred for war. And the removal of the helmet to reveal the dumpy potato headed alien inside is a staple of the characters. They are also based on a Kinder Egg toy, just FWIW. Inspiration comes from everywhere.
And last but not least, as we were nearing this page, Jeff was looking back over some of our older small press DFS stories and found this page from Issue 13.
So a whole lot in a single page. Don't say we don't give value for your hard earned clicks. Speaking of which...

i have heard of Doctor Who i used to watch the 70’s version when i was growing up has a lad in the late 80’s-early 90’s i just thought that the clone race was based on an actual movie lol but i may have to start re watching doctor who again used to really enjoy the cheesy 70’s effects

Don’t feel bad Lazy J, I grew up with the Tom Baker Doctor Who in the 80’s and I couldn’t even get past the opening. The graphics and song just freaked me out! 🙂
And in answer to your question, no the schenanigans will never stop.

Lazy J
Also question is teh sontarans an actual movie?
Chris
Actually, the Sontarans are a race of warmongering clones that were and are regular bad guys from the British TV show Doctor Who.
Go look it up, if I start talking about Doctor Who, I’m going to need another website.
Marrock
The only reason I’m putting up with this is the slim hope that something wet and messy will happen to that smug looking corksucking icehole.
Chris
Oi! With the tea coming out of my nose at work Marrock.
I’m going to allow your comment this time, but in future, keep it civil or it will be FARGIN WAR!!!
But in our defence, Indy always ends up getting captured at some point.
