I think we've completely blown our breakaway glass budget on this story. (And I love every shard of it, there just some cool energy from it flying everywhere.) And I really like that line from Fletcher, it sounds like a Chevy Chase one liner.
So I think I've mentioned there was another little project I'd been working towards and last week it finally got going. I've been involved with the website Comic Book Daily for over a year now, primarily as a panelist for the 52 Questions series. I was asked about doing a column about webcomics and after some thought, proposed doing not so much reviews, but a survey series looking at what's out there. After some delays, the first one went up last Thursday where I looked at Gordon McAlpin's Multiplex and a couple of others related to it. There'll be another installment of Webcomics Walkabout every Thursday, and I'll put a link up to it here on Thursday. I didn't last week mostly because I wanted to introduce it here. My goal is to try to expose more people to more comics. And I'm hoping to focus on comics that not enough people know about. I think the biggest challenge is not focusing on my own tastes or favourites.
