Okay, I'm coming clean. Alex's Story is very much influenced by my own childhood. It's not verbatim or anything, but it's very much inspired by my experiences as a kid. And yeah, I had sweater vests.

It's one of the reasons I think we had me draw these panels. I also blame this story for my affair with auto bio work.
