So the six panel grid was one of the defining elements of Jaka's Story, but even more significant where the pages with a single image and long column of justified text. It is in these text pieces that the character of Jaka's history is told.

So here we learn about Alex's birth. All of the single images for Alex's Story were drawn by Chris and inked by Jeff. We didn't do the elaborate drop caps on the text columns. We're not crazy.
