We don't make enough use of symbols and visual language like Walter does in panels 4 and 5. I love the Alex skull.

Panel 4 is all sorts of background fun. First there's Ren and Stimpy waking past, further back is a nod to one of Toronto's great comic shops, the Silver Snail. Next door is a movie theatre showing Blue Harvest, the code name for Return of the Jedi. Panel 6 is a seafood restaurant named for the character from Disney's Little Mermaid.
