Dressed for Success comic by Chris Howard & Jeff Wasson

A Montage of Alex and Walter being chased by the Cove Creep.

The Cove Creep is seen looking around the beach at the end of 3 beach huts. Alex and Walter are seen behind the Cove Creep, poking their heads out of two of the beach huts.

Alex and Walter hide behind a big sand castle as the Cove Creep moves by. With their heads poking up, Alex is seen with a sand pail on his head.

Alex and Walter are seen in one panel running away from the Cove Creep, each holding one end of a paddleboard. Alex is in the front, looking forward, with Walter at the back, looking behind at the Cove Creep.

Alex is seen shooing away the Cove Creep with a beach umbrella, chasing it along the beach. Walter is following behind.

ALEX:

tuk, tuk, tuk, tuk, tuk, tuk, tuk

Dressed For Success – Page 239

Ahh, the chase montage. That moment in every Scooby Doo story where the monster chases our heroes back and forth, in and out of doors or tunnels or as here, around the beach. Sort of a fun page to do, and it goes way back for us to our third issue and a two page spread montage of Alex and Walter being chased.

You'll have to provide your own soundtrack music to the scene.

And yes, that final image is Alex doing his Henry Jones Sr. impression from Last Crusade. Tell us you aren't tempted yourself when there's a huge flock of seagulls and you have an umbrella.
