EXTERIOR - TOWN CENTRE - DAY

Panel 1:

An establishing shot of Constellation Cove’s town square. Lucus’ Diner is in the foreground and what we are focusing on. A mother and daughter can be seen exiting the diner. People are wandering about the town. A busker is in the park across the road etc. Philip, Fred and Walter stand in place taking in the scene.

ALEX:
(catching up to the group)
What was wrong with the beach?!

Panel 2:

Alex turns his attention to Lucus’ Diner

ALEX:
Oh… food could be a good idea too.

WALTER:
When did we last eat?

Panel 3:

A shot of the building where Lucus’ Diner is located. A group of people can be seen gathered together inside. The faint sound of a discussion can be heard from outside.

ANONYMOUS 1:
You’re not listening to me!

ANONYMOUS 2:
Now, now, calm down.

Panel 4:

Philip moves forward towards the diner. Peers in the window

PHILIP:
It appears there is some sort? of heated discussion going on? in this fine, eating establishment. 


Panel 5:

PHILIP:
(Looks over his shoulder)
Let’s go see!

Alex and Walter look at each other. 

ALEX:
I hope there isn’t a waitlist.

Welcome to the quiet town of Constellation Cove. Totally made up and not based on anything at all. Honest.

If you think it back, Walter raises a very good question. Media doesn't often worry about the more mundane aspects of life. Just when did they last eat?
